Rositzke has written widely on matters of intelligence. Regarding this book, there are more up to date and better-written accounts of the KGB. At the time, this probably was a good book, but time and the fall of the iron curtain has provided a flood a details. This work is interesting for the die-hard reader who will want to compare the work with others of its time. The book is well laid out and has a workman like style of writing.
