Eisenhower’s chief meteorologist’s account of the weather forecasts associated with the Normandy landings. Stresses the importance of presenting this type intelligence to the decision makers, the problems of dealing with the special requirements of air, naval, and land forces of two nationalities, and the reconciling of conflicting estimates made by weathermen of lower echelons all of whom thought their estimates the most reliable.
