This extensively researched and well written work on guerrilla war-fore is included because it contains extensive material on the activities of OSS in support of resistance movements in both the European and Pacific theaters of operation in World War II. The book also contains important references to the activities of the British SOE in Europe and the Far East and the relationships of the 055 and SOE. Included are references to the problems that existed between rival intelligence agencies (the French for example) and the SOE and the 055. See especially chapters 31 through 50.
