A record of the testimony of witnesses on events in Chile and on Chile-U.S. relationships during the period 1970-73. The hearings were held during the period between July 1971 and mid-September 1973. The report includes eight appendices which are reprints of articles that appeared in the press concerning the activities of the CIA in Chile. A bibliography of Chile during the Allende years, prepared by the Library of Congress, is included as an appendix. The report is not specifically pointed toward covert activities, but represents a valuable source when used with the Senate report Covert Action in Chile 1963-1973
